good afternoon everybody and welcome to
Sunday and welcome to my channel today i
am bringing you guys another cooking
video so yesterday i first want to say
thank you to everybody that came out
stopped by said hello shared some good
cooking tips helped me along the way you
all I was cooking with jalapenos and
just had a really good time it was a lot
of fun I really truly enjoyed it
I think for the most part my cooking
videos I need to make like my actual
cooking videos be their own videos
reason being because I had quite a few
people say oh my god it was so much fun
being on live but I you know I can't
stick to the whole trying to watch the
live while trying to figure out what
you're making distractions were kind of
hard and I completely understand and
also they do go long my lives
technically go fairly long I love to
talk I have lots of friends that like to
chit chat and so it makes it a lot of
fun while we're gathered so yeah but it
doesn't mean that I won't go live while
I am cooking at times cuz there's some
times that I won't make a cooking video
and I might just go live just to go live
not because I'm gonna make a cooking
video I may show you guys what I'm doing
on those ones but it won't be like I set
out actual let's teach you're a good
mill so last night on the live though he
didn't catch it I made jalapeno popper
chicken originally it was supposed to be
chicken breast stuffed with a jalapeno
popper mixture but once I got it going I
realized that wasn't gonna be enough
chicken if I just did the chicken breast
itself because the only package that
that I defrosted only had two chicken
parts in it when I buy from Costco the
packages of chicken meat that I get it
either sometimes it goes by the weight
so one package might have two chicken
breasts because they're a little bit
bigger and then other ones might be
three chicken breasts because they're a
little smaller
so when I opened it up and there was
only two chicken breasts I was like oops
okay that's not gonna be clearly enough
for our family so what I went ahead and
did is I shredded down the chicken and I
kind of made it into like a casserole
now one thing that I would personally
suggest if anybody is to make that I
would definitely do rice with it reason
for that it was it was really good don't
get me wrong it was really good but I
think it just needed a little bit more
texture to it than just the grated or
the shredded chicken with the sauce so I
would have paired it had I figured it
that I needed that but it was my first
time making it so I didn't know I would
definitely pair it with some rice so
that's something to keep in mind if you
guys are to make it but I would
definitely suggest you guys trying it
it's really good another thing too is
you can use it as a dip for chips that
would have been really good too
so anyways enough was yesterday let's
move into today so today I'm making
something that is one of our family's
favorites and it is called beef bird tug
tug him it's a tongue twister and you're
probably thinking bird tongue like okay
so when ollie came from Egypt and he was
making some of the mills I remember he
used to make this soup and it was called
bird tongue soup and he made it a lot
when it almost is like their chicken
noodle soup they use that as kind of
opposed to the way that we eat or they
eat there's kind of like we eat our
chicken noodle soup when we're not
feeling good so one day I wasn't feeling
well and he's like honey do you want me
to make you bird tongue soup well if
you're already sick and then you hear
that you're just like falls
okay mommy duties they always seem to
need me the minute I sat down to do a
video mom I'm done if you get my drift
so anyways when somebody asks you if you
want bird tongue soup
and you're already not feeling well the
answer is gonna definitely be yeah well
he finally comes to me he's like sweetie
it's this but it has the shape if I
control one out I did my nails today
here so let's see it kind of has the
shape kinda of a bird tongue like that's
how he's come up with bird tongue soup
so we also like to do it in a tuggin
whereas it doesn't it's not a soup no
more it's more of like a now I'm gonna
say a casserole but it becomes really
thick so it's no longer like a soup and
then we like to mix it in with beef on
this inside of it as well so I'm going
to show you everything that you're gonna
need and then we will start but the
first thing you do want to do is you do
want to pre-heat your oven to 425 get
that started because as soon as you're
done prepping this stuff that you're
gonna need to prep then we'll come the
oven and it needs to cook for about an
hour to an hour and a half okay so first
things that you're gonna need to even
start this mill is you're gonna need
this pasta now you can use any brands we
just like this brand but it doesn't mean
you have to use that brand you're also
going to need one can of chicken broth
also salt and pepper I'm using this but
it's just a beef blend that you can put
over your beef so you're also going to
need one medium onion and you're gonna
need
least two to three cloves of garlic out
of this and then you're gonna need a
slab of beef we use sirloin steak and
then I don't know if you guys can see
this but you're going to need a tug in
that can go in the oven so first things
first the first thing you're going to do
is you're going to go over to the oven
and well actually no first thing you're
gonna do is you're gonna dice up your
onions
so let's dice up the onions and your
garlic and then we'll go from there
[Music]

[Music]
so after you've chopped up your onion
you're going to add it into a heated pan
of about 6 tablespoons of vegetable oil
and about three to four tablespoons of
butter you're also at this point going
to be adding in your bird tongue pasta
and you're gonna continuously stir it
because that's what's going to keep it
from burning basically and you're gonna
keep doing this until it's like a golden
brown and you like I said want to make
sure you continuously stir because
otherwise it will burn
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
so on high heat I'm going to be adding
in my beef and I will continuously be
stirring this to make sure that each
side gets browned 'add I do not want it
to cook completely through because if I
do it's gonna get hard when it goes to
cook more so I just my goal is to only
make sure that it's helping the cooking
process to speed up a little bit but it
also is making sure that it is
thoroughly cooked in the middle as well
as the outside also here I will be
adding in my salt pepper and my meat
seasoning there are many of them out
there that you could use it's completely
up to what you want but this is just the
ones that I've chosen to use myself
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
now I'm going to take the beef that I
have been cooking and add it into the
Burton pasta I will give it a good stir
to make sure that it's all mixed in well
and then pretty much at that point it is
done and I will take it to the counter
and go at it into my tuggin
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
so after you've added everything into
the tuggin you will then add your
chicken broth and about 1/4 can of water
and then you're going to cover it with
tinfoil
I forgot that step I put the lid on it
you're gonna put it into the oven at 425
for about an hour and a half you do not
open up the oven you keep it going for
the full time I guarantee it will not
burn and then of course here comes the
dishes
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
okay you guys so now I have put the
tuggin in for an hour and a half and
then once it's done then I will show you
guys the final product and there you
have it beef bird tongue tuggin hope you
guys enjoyed see you again soon
